Reply Etiquette
I was wondering what's the proper way to reply to question that people asked on my blog? Do I reply after their comment on my own blog or on their blog?
I keep running into this issue and don't want to offend someone b/c they didn't kown where I post my reply.

Interesting question, I have found it work both ways. If someone is asking you a question that you feel is really important to them, either reply on your site and then tell them through message or comment on their site that the reply is on your site, or just leave the response in their comments on their page.
If they are asking you something that you think more people would want to know then you can use your comments on your site like a message board, write on your site for others to see. That would save other viewers from going down rabbit trails of trying to find how you respeonded.

i think u should always reply back to their blog.

if i want them to see it, i put it on their blog
if i want everyone else to see it, i put it on my blog after their comment
if i want both...i do both.

ryc = responding to your comment .. or whatever. =)
the best way is this (trust me i spend way too much on xanga): reply to their blog but only after you've commented on what their current post is about. that way you are answering questions as well as reading what they have to say (which is why anyone has a blog anyways).

ryc: haha..i used paper board several times. didn't work too good. it needs major lightings & major curves in ps lol.

you can reply into thier blog, or if its a big one, create a post addressing the question
Good question. I've often wondered that myself. I like what the first person (and others) said.
I agree with the first person. Of course if they like you enough, they should check back on your blog for the answer right? Good quesiton btw!!
